$31,514.41 Offering - "Hope Now" A Huge Success!
Offering of $31,514.40 Given by Attendees “of Hope Now” Easter Celebration at Merrill Auditorium
PORTLAND – EastPoint Christian Church announced the total offering collected at the “Hope Now” Celebration held yesterday at Merrill Auditorium was $31,514.40. The amount collected at this special community-wide Easter service will be donated to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. The church had hoped to collect at least $20,000 and is excited the 1,300 in attendance gave beyond expectation.
Ashlynn Wescott, a nine year old pediatric heart patient, was present with her family and thanked guests for attending. Wescott was named Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital Featured Child.
“We’re extremely excited about partnering with a cause that brings hope to so many families in our area,” said EastPoint Lead Pastor Scott Taube.
The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, located at Maine Medical Center in Portland, cares for more than 55,000 children each year. It provides treatment for complex medical conditions and diseases.
