Our History
- Scott Taube was called as the lead pastor in 2003. His wife, Beth, and three daughters came with a team of two other families to plant the church.
- EastPoint Christian Church launched in March of 2004. Restoration House Ministries (rhmnewengland.org) is the church planting organization responsible for the initial plant and oversight during our first 4 years.
- The church first met in the Maine Mall Cinema.
- After leaving the cinema, EastPoint met in the Sable Oaks Marriott Hotel for nearly two years.
- The church then met in a warehouse on Route 1 in Scarborough.
- Two years ago, we moved into our new home at 58 City Line Drive in Portland. God has blessed us with a wonderful space for worship, celebration and outreach.
